Hide AdA spokesman for UR Potential said: “The meeting clearly demonstrated that young people are confident enough given the right information, encouragement, support and a young person friendly environment to make good ideas and suggestions.”
It was agreed UR Potential’s Breaking the Cycle Mental Health forum for young people would be the vehicle for young people to discuss health issues, prioritise questions for the committee and feed them into the scrutiny meetings prior to the formal town hall meetings supported by Blackpool Youth Voice.
The group will invite young people from groups including Blackpool Polar Bears swimming club, Blackpool Tiggers and Aiming Higher charity to take part.
