Last year more than 600 women took part in the gathering, which this year takes place between 11am and 3pm.

Singer Anne Nolan will officially open the event.

Deborah Terras from organisers URPotential said: “We want every person, women, men and non-binary people across the Fylde Coast to play a part in helping drive better outcomes for women.”

The day will include speakers who will tell their stories, entertainment and more than 65 stalls.

Organisers are also appealing for bags and bras to be donated to homeless women, as well as prizes for the tombola.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to Fylde Coast Womens Aid, and awards will also be handed out to celebrate achievements of Fylde women in two categories - Fylde Coast Young Woman of the Year and Fylde Coast Woman of the Year.
