BLACKPOOL is to play host to a prestigious women’s business awards.
The Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) were founded by Blackpool-based Pink Link Ladies and are set to launch their hunt for excellence in a few weeks.
In the previous two years, the finals have been held at Ribby Hall Village, but now the ceremony is to be at the four-star Hilton Blackpool Hotel.
The ceremony was attended by 360 guests last year and was sponsored by Ascroft Whiteside Solicitors, and Kara Rose PR who have returned once again to show their support this year.
Co-founder, Coral Horn said: “We are delighted to announce we will be hosting the EVA awards ceremony at the Hilton Blackpool this year.
“We had an overwhelming response to the event in 2012 and found ourselves in the difficult situation of having to turn enquiries for tickets away.
“This year we are hoping to welcome around 500 guests on the night, which is set to be our best yet.”
She said arrangements were now well under way, with a sumptuous menu put together to allow guests to personally select each course of their three course meal for the evening.
She added that there will also be a host of entertainment and special touches to make the evening go with a bang.
Rebecca Farmer at the Hilton Blackpool, added: “When we were approached by the team behind the EVAs, we were absolutely thrilled.
“The awards have such a prestigious reputation amongst business women across the North West and we recognise that this is the absolute culmination of the awards season for many.
“We can’t wait to put on an evening to remember.”
The awards will open for entries and nominations over the next coming weeks and there are limited sponsorship opportunities still available.
