Four reptiles – including a baby – were discovered by eager hunters on the annual St Annes Lizard hunt.

The hunt in the sand dunes was led by lizard breeder Ray Lynch and sand dunes project officer Lynn Ashton.
And the successful event could now be the prelude to a sand lizard breeding programme being established in the Fylde dunes.
Lynn said: “We were worried that the cold weather had reduced the population but the fact the temperature picked up meant the lizards were more prominent.”
