Pop Princeess Ariana Grande is the latest addition to the cavalcade of stars at Madame Tussauds.

Before taking up residence at the attraction, Ariana visited the Prom.

Ariana, who started her career on children’s TV shows Victoriaous and Sam and Cat, has had three best-selling platinum albums.

Matthew Titherington, general manager of Madame Tussauds, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to have Ariana’s figure at the attraction. She will take pride of place too in our newly refurbished music area, alongside other global music icons from past and present including Freddie Mercury,
Leona Lewis and Lady Gaga.”

Creating Ariana’s wax figure was an in-depth and thorough process, with a dedicated team of sculptors taking hundreds of precise measurements and photographs to ensure as accurate a likeness as possible. The figures are created by expert teams of sculptors, moulders, colourists and hair stylists, taking 20 people up to four months to complete a figure costing around £150,000.
