Neighbours are being urged to be vigilant in central Blackpool after a suspected arson attack.
Crews from Blackpool and Fleetwood were called to an alley behind Victory Road where a moped had been set alight and ignited a detached garage, which was destroyed in the fire.
It follows a series of rubbish fires in the area over course of the summer.
Mark Warwick, crew manager at Blackpool fire station, said: “We’d like residents to be extra vigilant when they’re putting rubbish out.
“These types of fire seem to be identified at the same place and expect a spike of rubbish fires during summer, but it seems to have carried on.
“There are a few issues with people fly tipping down there.”
Investigations are ongoing into the blaze, which happened at 5pm, and no arrests have yet been made.
No one was injured.
