Two men have been arrested after an alleged robbery in broad daylight outside a Fylde supermarket.
Security guards from a cash-in transit van were left shaken after allegedly being threatened by two men as they delivered cash to Morrisons, off Poulton Street, in Kirkham.
Police said the pair drove off in a silver Mercedes after their victims handed over the money.
Nobody was hurt and it is not thought weapons were used.
It is not yet known how much money was taken.
Police, who were called at around 9am on Wednesday, have since recovered two vehicles, a Mercedes and Vauxhall Astra, that they believe were used in connection with the alleged incident.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “Two men from Liverpool, aged 45 and 41, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.”
