It was all smiles as the Miss Teen Great Britain finals took place in Blackpool.
The annual event was held at The Globe Theatre, at the Pleasure Beach and the iconic venue played host to both the glittering Miss Teen GB Junior finals and the Miss Teen GB finals.
The 60 girls had earlier enjoyed a trip around the famous attraction, with chance to get into the seaside holiday spirit by going on the rides and eating ice creams and candy floss.
They also had the chance to take part in a diva pyjama party at The Imperial Hotel.
The idea behind the event is it is not just a beauty contest and it aims to be about much more than the girls being just a pretty face.
It hopes to be a positive and confidence-building experience for young girls and teenagers and make each contestant feel like a queen.
Holly Ikin, director of Miss Teen GB, said: “We were absolutely thrilled with the event and everyone truly had such a great time in Blackpool. It was fantastic to be in the town this weekend, as the atmosphere was amazing with the switch on. It was just a shame Gary Barlow couldn’t make it to our final!
“The families all loved everything Blackpool had to offer and the Imperial Hotel was ideal for everyone to stay – all of the families have commented they feel they have been on holiday.
“The competition itself was very tough – all the teens were incredible and are such great representatives for the youth of today. In total, the finalists raised over £15,000 for Claire House Children’s Hospice, which is a staggering amount and I am so proud of them.
“I know the two girls who won will be amazing winners and I cannot wait for their year ahead.
“We are already planning our finals for next year and we are excited to return to Blackpool, one of the original homes to beauty pageants.”
Winner of the Miss Teen Great Britain 2013 title was Brittany Hargreaves, 19, who had already been crowned Miss West Lancashire.
She wins £1,000 cash, £500 to spend at The Dress Studio, a modelling portfolio, Fake Bake products and beauty cosmetics.
Brittany, from Rochdale, impressed the judges so much she won the Best In Interview Award too.
Ella Ravenscroft, 15, from Manchester, won the title of Miss Junior Teen Great Britain, for those aged 11 to 15.
