VIDEO: Daring young acrobats’ spin skills

These mini acrobats have been learning tricks and flips from a trained trapeze star at a circus academy.

The youngsters are being trained by Jose Torralba, perfecting their juggling and polishing their plate spinning skills.

The seasoned performer teaches trapeze, trampoline, silks and tightroping walking to all ages.

Mr Torralba, 60, worked as a trapeze artist at Circus World in Florida before moving to the Vegas of the North West.

He said: “I really love the circus and I love to teach it.

“They learn different skills and build up their strength and confidence.

“Anybody can come along - circus is for all.”

The classes are held at Bispham Community Centre, Bispham Road, every Monday, Thursday and Friday from 4.30pm to 6pm, costing £6 per session or £10 for all three.
