A community group which fought to stop a popular Fylde pub from being demolished held a family fun day for residents.
The Victoria Hotel Community Association (VHCA) battled to block plans from a developer to knock down the The Victoria Pub in St Annes in 2012 and turn the site into flats.
On Saturday, dozens of people visited a park next to the pub to enjoy face painting, bouncy castles and a stage for local musicians, with the event organised by members of the association.
VHCA secretary Bruce Goodridge said: “It really was a day for the community – I would say we had several hundred people down.
“We did something similar on August Bank Holiday last year and it was just as popular this time around.”
