UPDATE: '˜Significant' jam after crash closes major road
A rush hour crash has caused severe congestion.
Lytham Road, in Warton, is closed at the junction with Kirkham Road following the collision, which happened at 8.47am, police said.
It involved a white Ford Transit van, a Mercedes C220, a BMW 318, and a Mercedes A150, a spokesman said.
The impact on traffic was ‘significant,’ he added, and motorists should consider using alternative routes.
Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured, the spokesman added.
