TRIBUTES have been laid at a crash site which claimed the life of Fylde father-of-two Jamie Clyde.
The 31-year-old from Kirkham was airlifted to hospital following a collision on Friday on St Michael’s Road, Bilsborrow, but later died from his injuries.
Photographs of Mr Clyde with his children are among the poignant mementos left by grieving relatives and friends.
Flowers and a Liverpool football shirt have also been placed at the scene.
Messages include one signed from Nik, Amber-Rose and Lillie B “To my gorgeous little brother, I can’t believe you’re gone”, while another signed from Ben to his “Big Bro” says “We always had our ups and downs. But I knew you always loved me.”
Another message, signed from Syl and Matt says “Gone but certainly not forgotten. You will be greatly missed by everyone.”
Mr Clyde, a student at Myerscough College, had two children, Charley, six, and Eli, four, with his fiancee Natasha Cartmell, and was the third son of five children.
He was on his way to college when his van was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle at 9.20am on Friday.
