Martin Ferguson passed away last Monday after suffering pneumonia.
He had been born with rare genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome and underwent several invasive spine operations during his life.
Mr Ferguson was a former pupil of Highfurlong School and Blackpool and the Fylde College, and attended Kirkham Day Centre.
Among his interests were the TV show Dr Who, buses and swimming.
He was a member of the Wyre Flounders Disabled Swimming Club, based in Fleetwood, and took part in sponsored swims to raise money for the club.
He leaves his parents Linda and William, and his sister Karen Hyland who said her brother would be missed by everyone who knew him.
She added: “All, without exception, who knew Martin, loved him. He was a sociable young man and an inspiration to us with the kindness and thoughtfulness he showed.”
His funeral takes place on Friday, June 22, at 12.30pm at Carleton Crematorium.
