Two people were taken to hospital following a collision involving a quad bike.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Warren Drive and Sevenoaks Drive in Anchorsholme at around 4.10pm on Wednesday following the incident involving a silver Toyota and a black quad bike.
A police spokeswoman said: “The incident happened around 4.10pm when the car, driven by an elderly man, was coming from Sevenoaks Drive and turning right onto Warren Drive.
“The quad was coming from Warren Drive towards Sevenoaks when the collision has occurred.”
The rider of the quad was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital with a shoulder injury, while the pillion passenger was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with a pelvis injury.
Both are believed to be aged in their 20s.
The car driver was treated for shock.
The road was closed for a short time.
