Residents in Fleetwood have raised concerns over the state of the town’s roads.
Potholes on West Way, a major link road between Broadway and the south end of Larkholme, are a major problem, they claim.
One resident, Barry Carr, of Rossall Gate, said: “The surface of the road is terrible and could possibly cause damage to cars. If a cyclist went over one of these things, it could easily buckle a wheel.”
The retired coach driver, says he has been in touch with County Hall about the roads.
LCC’s highways manager Sim Lane-Dixon, says work has to be carried out on a priority basis.
He added: “Lancashire County Council invests heavily in the county’s roads to keep traffic moving.
“Work needs to be prioritised so that funding is spent on roads and footpaths that need most urgent work.”
