A busy Blackpool road was closed while emergency services dealt with a three-car collision.
The incident happened at the junction of Clifton Crescent with Preston New Road, Marton, at around 12.20pm this afternoon.
Police and fire crews have been called to the scene after initial fears that a driver may have been trapped.
The road was re-opened at 1pm after being closed off for nearly an hour as police swept large amounts of debris from the road.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said: “One male in his late teens was taken to Blackpool Victoria.”
The spokesman was unable to confirm whether the injuries were serious or not.
Peter Morris, 54, from Marton, was walking his dog down the busy road at the time of the crash.
He said: “I wasn’t looking directly at the road at the time but I heard brakes squealing and then an almighty bang.
“Next thing I saw was a line of cars backed up and debris from the vehicles everywhere.”
