A cyclist was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance when he collided with a car in Hambleton.

The 67-year-old man was part of a group of riders cycling along Bull Park Lane at 10.45am today when he was injured.

Police believe the man was on a roundabout as he cycled away from the village.

The Air Ambulance was called to take him to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, his injuries are not thought to be serious.
