THE occupants of two cars escaped injury following a collision at a busy junction.
Debris was left strewn across the road following the smash at the corner of Squires Gate Lane and Clifton Drive, South Shore.
A nearby resident called the emergency services and police and ambulance attended at the scene just after 8pm on Friday.
The road remained passable by other traffic while investigations were carried out and the damaged vehicles were recovered.
Police said no-one was injured in the incident.
