Police, ambulance and fire crews were called after a van and car collided in St Annes.
The incident happened around 7.50am today at the junction of St Leonards Road West and St Davids Road North.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “We got a call this morning from the ambulance service which reported a two vehicle road traffic collision.
“The car, a Renault Megane, had a woman in her 20s in. The van involved seemed to be a transit van.
“It appears the woman was trapped in the car and fire crews had to remove the roof to free her.”
The spokesman added there were no serious injuries reported and the road is expected to re-open shortly.
