Prom closed after crash

POLICE closed a section of the Promenade after a 21-year-old man was involved in a collision with a car.

An ambulance was called to the scene, outside the Metropole Hotel, at around 3.20pm today after the incident involving a silver Peugeot 207.

The road was closed between Princess Street and Cocker Square.
