Lorry careers up embankment on M55
An accident between a lorry and two cars is partially blocking the M55 tonight.
The incident occurred just before 4pm and left the HGV stranded half way up the embankment at the start of the motorway underneath the Marton interchange.
AA Roadwatch says: "The lorry has headed up a bank at the start of M55 underneath the Marton Interchange roundabout. One of the vehicles is reportedly encroaching into lane one."
Traffic is being diverted off the motorway.
