Crews called to car fire on M55

Firefighters were called to a car fire on the M55 on Friday evening.

Crews from Fulwood and Wesham stations used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire on the hard shoulder of the eastbound carriageway close to junction one for Broughton.

No injuries were reported.
