A TEENAGER who had been to a party stole property including a laptop computer from two cars.

Stephen Bryan, 18, of Chapel Street, Blackpool, admitted one theft and asked for a similar offence to be considered. He was sentenced to do 12 hours in an attendance centre by Blackpool magistrates.

Martine Connah, prosecuting, said Bryan and two other men took goods including a bag, keyring and chargers from a Golf. They also took a laptop computer and bottle of vodka from a BMW.

When interviewed by police Bryan said he and two other males had been to a party. They left to get some cigarettes and started trying car doors.

Stephen Duffy, defending, said Bryan had pleaded guilty straight away. When confronted he’d agreed to wait for police.
