Top TV show The X Factor is back – and on the lookout for the next big breakout music stars as they travel the length and breadth of the country on the 2016 audition tour.

The tour will be visiting Blackpool as part of a tour of the following towns and cities:

The dates are: Saturday April 23 – Blackpool – Houndshill Shopping Centre - 10am – 18pm; Sunday April 24 – Preston – St George’s Shopping Centre, PR1 2TU – 10am – 17pm; Tuesday April 26 – Wigan – Grand Arcade Shopping Centre, WN1 1BH – 09.30am – 17.30pm.

This is part of the Mobile Audition Tour, which is visiting more than 40 towns and cities across the country. Groups or solo singers aged 16 plus can apply by just turning up.

The audition is part of a UK-wide tour where the X Factor team will be searching high and low bringing the auditions directly to you in the hunt for the latest singing sensations.
