Police investigating a stabbing in Blackpool town centre at the weekend have released a man on bail.
Officers were called to Regent Road at 9pm on Sunday after the 28-year-old victim was found unconscious in the street.
He was rushed to hospital with five stab wounds to the chest and is now in a stable condition.
Detectives, who arrested an 18-year-old man nearby after he was found wearing heavily bloodstained clothing, are appealing for information about a second man seen running away from the scene of the crime.
The second suspect is described as white and anyone with information is urged to call police, who were yesterday checking CCTV footage from the area.
The 18-year-old man from Huddersfield, arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, has been released on police bail until June 29.
Call police on 101 with information.
