JOIN in a night out in Blackpool with a difference - to raise money for two good causes.
Rosemere Cancer Foundation and Galloways Society for the Blind are inviting people to explore the famous Illuminations on the evening of Friday, September 14 and support the two charities.
The five-mile walk will set off from Bispham at 7pm, and finish at Starr Gate - before people can re-fuel with tea and biscuits at Sharples Hall, in South Shore.
There is no charge for taking part in the walk, but people are being asked to raise sponsorship or to make a donation on the night.
Laura Stephenson, area fundraising coordinator at Rosemere Cancer Foundation, said: “This year is the centenary of the Illuminations, making it the perfect time for residents to re-explore them with fresh eyes.
“We’re sure the night will have a fantastic atmosphere, making it really memorable for everyone taking part.”
