Shoppers are invited to celebrate the summer of football in Blackpool town centre on Saturday.
Beat the goalie and human table football are among the events being staged in St John’s Square to get people into the mood for the World Cup which starts on June 12.
There is also chance to take on world champion football freestyler John Farnworth who will be performing an array of tricks and flicks.
Representatives of Blackpool Football Club’s academy are also taking part and a crew from Rock FM will be offering chances to win football prizes.
The events are being staged from noon until 4pm organised by the Blackpool Improvement District (BID).
Ride the bucking football, chipit and head tennis on the street pitch will also be played. It is the latest in a number of events being held in the square this summer, which traders have welcomed as a way of boosting footfall.
