BLACKPOOL’S fabulous Funny Girls revue is spreading some glamorous goodwill and show stopping Christmas spirit by organising a special charity night in aid of The Gazette-backed Give A Little Help A Lot Christmas campaign.
Celia Walsh, manager at Funny Girls says she is delighted to get involved with the Give A Little campaign this year and is offering free entry to everyone who goes along to the venue with a children’s gift on Thursday evening.
She said: “The Give A Little campaign is a wonderful way for the businesses of Blackpool to reach out and offer a gift to share with children and young people of our resort who might otherwise go without this year.
“We are delighted to help support this scheme and on Thursday night we will offer free standing room entry to any customers who bring along a new children’s toy, teddy or festive selection box to donate towards the campaign.”
The club’s collection point is in the main reception of Funny Girls on Dickson Road, Blackpool.
Celia says the Funny Girls cast, bar talent and production team behind the scenes, who will be contributing to the campaign, are delighted to be getting involved.
She added: “We look forward to hosting a fun filled evening in aid of the Give A Little Help A Lot campaign.
“There will be a fabulous raffle hosted by DJ Zoe and lots of special surprises, fun and games throughout the night.
“This is a great opportunity to come down to Funny Girls, enjoy the Christmas Show and support our local community at the same time.”
Doors open from 7pm and the show starts at 8.30pm with the spectacular finale at 11pm.
