A SON shouted “I’m going to kill you mum” after she complained to police that he had stolen property from her.
Michael Ryan, 29, of Leckhampton Road, North Shore, admitted theft of goods valued at £260 from his mother.
He was bailed for pre-sentence reports by Blackpool magistrates.
Jackie Garratt, prosecuting, said the complainant went away for a few days and when she returned on July 15 she found her son and his two young children in the house.
Later she checked the house over and discovered a deep freezer and a lamp missing.
Gary McAnulty, defending, said Ryan’s mother was moving house and Ryan intended moving to Bradford.
She had previously said she wanted to get rid of some things and Ryan needed some goods for his new home, but he took the lamp and freezer without asking her permission.
