THESE little voices shouted it loud and proud as they were crowned Blackpool’s Primary School Choir of the Year.
Anchorsholme Primary were top of the pops after a storming performance in the final at Highfield High School.
Ten schools battled it out singing a variety of styles from pop, swing and rap.
Anchorsholme headteacher Graeme Dow said: “The children were so dedicated they even came in over their Easter holidays to practise.
“There were so many talented choirs and we were thrilled to bits to win. We are staggeringly proud.”
Blackpool Music Service adviser Andrew White said: “Congratulations must be offered to all schools, teachers and pupils.
“We had a wonderful night supporting and enjoying exciting performances from all the choirs.”
