The De Vere Village Hotel, Heron’s Reach, Blackpool, played host to 35 exhibitors on Sunday, offering holidays both in the UK and abroad, from skiing to cruises, beach breaks and coach trips.

Organiser Sue Bentley said: “It was a brand new venue which was great for exhibitors and visitors in an elegant setting.

“It was full of holiday ideas, to try something new or get inspiration, as well as save money.

“It’s great to be able to help people to get a good bargain.”

As well as browsing holiday offers, visitors could have a hand massage, play pitch and putt and take away goody bags.

Exhibitors included Thomas Cook, Virgin Holidays, Sunseekers Travel and Omega Travel.

Mrs Bentley added: “There were some great deals to be had and lots of competitions, for theme park and attraction tickets, flights to Fuerteventura and a weekend break to the Lakes.”

Closer to home, local businesses Cuffe and Taylor, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the Guild Hall, Preston, offered tickets giveaways too.
