A sex offender twice duped police over where he was living, Blackpool magistrates were told.
Gary Clark was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life after being convicted at Worcester Crown Court. He came to live in Blackpool where he was supposed to tell the police where he was living and any changes of address within three days.
Clark, of Kincraig Road, Bispham, admitted two offences of breaching his sex offenders’ order.
He was given an eight-week jail term suspended for a year and a year’s supervison.
Magistrates heard he had a previous conviction for the same address.
Adrian Hollamby, prosecuting, said that Clark gave police one address but he had not been seen there for a year.
He then gave an address on Adelaide Street but had moved out.
John McLaren, defending, said: “The one thing I would stress is that he has not been re offending in the way he was convicted for.”
