THROUGHOUT the year AllStars recognises sporting excellence and outstanding effort from all over the Fylde coast. Now we’re going a stage further with a thrilling new event.
On December 8, The Gazette and Blackpool Sixth will join forces to stage the first AllStars Awards to honour outstanding individuals and teams nominated by AllStars readers.
The glittering star-studded ceremony will take place at Blackpool Sixth, where our 11 awards will be presented, including the most coveted AllStars Star of the Year trophy.
The Fylde coast has a proud tradition of developing young stars who have gone on to excel in their chosen sports on the national and international stage, and an AllStars Award could be the first stepping stone on the road to worldwide recognition.
Our specially selected judging panel will choose the winners from your nominations.
You can make a nomination in as many categories as you like, or just in one if you prefer. But this is not a vote, and so there is no need to nominate anyone more than once.
Each nomination should contain a description (no more than 100 words please) of the individual/team’s activities/achievements and give reasons for the nomination.
Nominees for individual awards must reside on the Fylde coast or represent a school or sports organisation in Blackpool, Fylde or Wyre. Similarly, teams must be based on the Fylde coast to be eligible.
