THE family of a missing Blackpool girl is pleading for her to return home.
Relatives of 15-year-old Rebecca Webster are growing increasingly concerned about the school girl’s disappearance.
Police have now issued an appeal for information about the whereabouts of the teenager, who is also known as Becky.
She has not been since last Saturday evening when she left her home in South Shore just before 7pm, telling her family she would be home by 10.30pm that evening. She failed to turn up and she was subsequently reported missing.
Despite extensive enquiries with friends and acquaintances there have been no confirmed sightings of Rebecca.
Her father, Graham Webster, said “We are all really worried and just want Becky home. The longer it goes on without us hearing from her is making it even more difficult to bear.”
Police believe she may still be in the Blackpool area and are urging friends with any information to contact them.
Insp Alistair Campbell, from Blackpool Police, said: “Rebecca is a very vulnerable young person and it is imperative she is found and returned home safely as soon as possible.”
Becky is described as slim, white, around 4ft 11in tall with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, a heavy grey knee length coat and blue pumps.
Anyone with any information regarding Rebecca’s current whereabouts is asked to contact Blackpool Police on (01253) 293933.
