Singing schoolchildren are hoping to win the chance to professionally record their anti-bullying anthem.

A teacher from Aspire Academy, Bispham, penned the song for pupils and members of the school’s gospel choir.

It is now one of the five shortlisted to win the Anti-Bullying Song Competition, run by Internet Matters, and the chance to record the song professionally at Sky studios.

Titled ‘Who Do You Think U R? Bully!’ the song says schoolchildren will not standing for bullying and bullies should get help.

Teacher Sarah Bagot, who wrote the song, said: “What the children are singing is true to life, it’s amazing to hear them singing it.

“We need lots of votes. It would be fantastic to win.”
