AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of teenage murder victim Sasha Marsden.
The 16-year-old was found stabbed to death in alleyway behind the Grafton House Hotel, in Kirby Road, South Shore, last month.
And yesterday Blackpool coroner Anne Hind formally opened the inquest into the youngster’s death.
The brief hearing confirmed the teenager, from Shaftesbury Avenue, Staining, died of multiple stab wounds.
PC Helen Leeson, coroner’s officer, said: “A Home Office post-mortem carried out on February 1 gave the cause of death as being multiple stab and incise wounds.”
The inquest has now been adjourned to a later date.
