A Blackpool attraction teamed up with a support group to offer advice to people living with mental health problems.

Sandcastle Waterpark hosted exhibitors in its mall, in support of The Richmond Fellowship’s mental health work, for visitors to find out about the services the Fellowship can offer.

The event on October 10, World Mental Health Day, also welcomed guests to pay a discounted entry fee to the waterpark, with all proceeds going to the charity.

The Richmond Fellowship supports 9,000 people each year, identifying their needs and giving people the belief and encouragement to achieve their goals.

John Child, managing director of Sandcastle Waterpark, said: “We felt that to host an event on World Mental Health Day where people can come and get better informed of the options available to them would be of great help to the community.”
