Salsa dancers shimmied their way into Blackpool Tower Ballroom over the weekend.
Hosted by 4 The Love of Dance, hundreds of people took to the dance floor on Saturday to show off their moves in the ballroom’s stunning surroundings.
With guest teacher, Robert Charlemagne and a three-strong DJ team – Julian The Duke, DJ Salsa Andy and Gillian Salsa Fix – playing a mix of Salsa with a sprinkling of Bachata and Kizomba, there was non-stop dancing through to the early hours.
Carl Bailey, from The Blackpool Tower, said: “The event draws around 800 people.
“A lot of people arrived in time for the first lesson at 8pm.
“Everyone seemed to be having a great time.”
And Gillian said: “It was great working with my fellow DJs, Julian Duke and Salsa Andy, and great to see so many there early for a fabulous class by the legendary Rob Charlemagne.”
