These divers can breathe easy after gaining their Open Water Diving qualifications.

Rossall School pupils Susannah Green, 16, and Jasmine Noden, 14, took lessons in the school’s indoor pool.
The pair made a splash as the first pupils at the school to pass the training course, led by Blackpool Area Divers, and can now go on unsupervised fresh or open water dives.

Susannah said: “It was great to learn in the safety of the school pool but we can’t wait to do a dive in the sea – maybe somewhere warmer than the Fylde coast waters though.”
