A machine operator was more than three times over the limit when he reversed his girlfriend’s car into another vehicle on a car park.
Konstantins Orlovski, 31, of Coronation Street, Kirkham, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol without insurance.
He was banned from the road for 23 months, fined £385 with £85 costs and ordered to pay £325 compensation plus £39 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, said a witness on Coronation Road car park, Kirkham, saw the defendant in an Audi reverse quickly and collide with a Citroen on September 12 at 6pm. A breath test showed 107 micrograms of alcohol in his body - 35 is the limit.
Suzanne Mugford, defending, said her client, who had no previous convictions, had pleaded guilty immediately. The car had been seized and it was not going to be retrieved.
