A village centre will open its doors next week for the first time since it was revamped.
The Great Eccleston Centre, on the High Street, will open on Wednesday after it was re-decorated, a new kitchen was installed, and new furniture, IT equipment and PowerPoint facilities were fitted in meeting rooms.
Money for the revamp was made available through Wyre Council’s Shaping Your Neighbourhood programme, which funds community projects throughout the borough.
The open day, from 10am to 4pm, is open to all and will promote the classes which are regularly held there, including belly dancing, bridge, pilates and painting.
The building has a café and also wifi, an IT drop-in facility, photocopying, laminating and binding services.
