Taking place from Friday to Monday over the May Bank Holiday weekend, it saw hundreds turn out in the village’s streets to see the parade go by.

The event included something for everyone.

Fetes included a Bikes and Barrows Judging Competition, music concerts, a classic car display and various food and gift stalls.

Organisers posted a message on Facebook saying: “Such a great weekend despite the weather! Thanks to all the fabulous volunteers and a big thank you to the residents of Scorton.”

The money raised from the festival went towards opening the village’s new state of the art sports facilities behind the Methodist Church.
