PUPILS across the Fylde coast are gearing up for this year’s Sports Relief Mile.

And students at Pilling St Johns Primary school will be putting their best foot forward for the charity event next month.

Headteacher Pauline Tate said: “The Pilling Mile is set to be an amazing event. It’s fantastic so many people in Pilling are gathering together to show their support for Sport Relief 2012.”

Anyone wishing to take part in the run should enter at www.sportrelief.com.

Participants will set off from the school at 10am.
