IT LOOKS like a mighty big pumpkin – but exactly how big is it?

The pumpkin has found a new home behind the bar at a village pub – and now regulars are being asked to take a stab at guessing its weight.

Regulars at The Ship Inn, on Bunker Street, in Freckleton, are paying £1 a time to take a punt at guessing the giant pumpkins weight. It was grown by local grower Keith Langley, who is renown for his vegetables.

All profits from the competition are being donated to the North West Air Ambulance service, and the lucky pubgoer who guesses the correct weight will win a meal voucher.
