BLACKPOOL are in negotiations to sign a second Latvian player to team up with Kaspars Gorkss.
Midfielder Andrejs Rubins is understood to be Pool's only transfer target from the homeland of the club's president Valery Belokon.

Pool hope to loan the 28-year-old from Russian club Spartak Moscow.
Rubins, who has won 84 international caps, spent three years with Crystal Palace from 2000 but managed only 31 appearances.
Pool's Latvian president Normunds Malnachs told Latvia's Telegraf newspaper, which Belokon owns:
"There are still many questions but Rubins is the only Latvian player we are interested in. Now everything depends on Spartak and on Rubins."
Rubins did not play for Spartak last season, when he was loaned back to one of his previous clubs, Shinnik Yaroslavl, also in Russia.
