Police are appealing for information after a woman was hit by a car.
The incident happened around 8.15pm in Lindale Gardens, South Shore.
Police believe the woman, in her 40s, was hit by the car after she had spoken to the driver and passengers.
A spokesman for Blackpool police said: “There was a road traffic collision.
“A female, about 40, was hit. She has got no serious or life threatening injuries.
“She had been out to speak to the occupants of the vehicle. She had put her hands on the bonnet and then been hit by the car. The car has then driven off.”
Neighbours in Lindale Gardens said the car was believed to be a silver Peugeot 406.
Residents claimed the car had two female and two male occupants and was driven by a woman.
An ambulance and five police cars attended the scene before the woman was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital with leg injuries.
