AUSSIE hunk Peter Andre will be coming back to Blackpool in just under a year’s time.

The pop star, once married to glamour model Katie Price, revealed his 22 tour dates on Tuesday - including one at The Opera House, on November 24.

And of course, viewers will have seen him in the Australian jungle this week, featuring on the panel on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

It was the place he met and fell in love with his ex-wife, so the Mysterious Girl hit-maker said his return was ‘emotional’.

He said: “I have some mixed feelings - I have been to Australia since the jungle, but never back there.”

He was there for four days - including being back in the jungle itself for just 24 hours and the other three days on the panel.

The 38-year-old is looking forward to coming back to Blackpool - which he has visited several times in the last couple of years.

Thousands of fans turned out to see him in February 2010 when he did a signing and meet and greet at Tesco in Marton, to mark the release of his album Unconditional Love Songs.

He also returned later in the year, to sit for his waxwork model at Madame Tussauds. And he appeared at The Grand in March.

The star said: “I love it in Blackpool. I have my model there of course in Madame Tussauds and recently when my parents were over from Australia, I really wanted to come and take them to see it, but we didn’t get chance.

“Blackpool is so cool. When I was little, before we moved to Australia, I used to come on family holidays to Blackpool and I loved it. It’s the Vegas of the North.

“I’ve got a lot of good memories of Blackpool, so I wanted to include it on the tour schedule.”

Peter is looking forward to touring again and he promises his shows will offer something a little bit different.

“I can’t wait to get touring again and this time I’m going to make my shows more personal.

“I’m going to be looking at who is buying tickets in each area and then try to tailor the show around the demographics of the people who are coming.

“I really want to make it suit the audience, rather than just being another concert.

“There will be some new material - I am working on my new album as we speak. It’s in the early stages at the moment, I’ve got a year to do it, which is great as I wouldn’t want to rush it. I’m really excited.

“So I will perform new material and of course some of the old favourites too.”

It’s been a busy time for the Insania singer, filming for his reality TV show Peter Andre, My Life, as well as opening a coffee shop - New York Coffee Club, in East Grinstead, London, with his brother Danny.

He hopes this is the first of what will become a chain.

The idea was born after Peter sat in a New York coffee shop over a decade ago with his brother and realised there was nothing similar on the UK high street.

Peter said: “This has been over a year of planning, but I am so excited NYCC is now open, it is everything I dreamed of and more.”

The pop star now hopes to expand the brand and has plans to open up his second branch next year.

And ITV1 viewers will be able to see him on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in a couple of weeks, the same night as the X Factor final.

This year the Aussie star was crowned celebrity Dad of the Year for a second time.

He had two children with Katie Price - Princess Tiaamii, four and Junior, six. She also has another son, Harvey, who is nine.

He said: “I always work my schedule around the kids.

“When I am working, I tend to do longer hours at once, so I can spend more time with them. They have to come first.”

For those planning to go to the Blackpool show next year, Peter promises: “Come along and you won’t be disappointed.”
