Have your say

Have your got room in your home and heart for this furball of energy?

Dash is a two-year-old lurcher collie cross looking for a new home, preferably with a family with older children and other pets.

He’s been staying at RSPCA’s Longview Animal Centre for one month after inspectors found him abandoned and wandering the streets with another dog.

Since the other dog was rehomed by the animal centre Dash has been pining for the company of other pets so centre staff hope to rehome him in a busy and full family home.

Natasha Henderson, from the centre on Division Lane, Marton, said: “Dash has got very high energy with a friendly nature so he needs to be with an active family.”

Dash enjoys playing with toys and other dogs but will need some more training.

Natasha added: “He jumps up with excitement a lot so it’s essential the family have high fences in their garden.

“He would best suit a new home with another dog as he gets very anxious on his own.”

The rehoming cost for Dash is £120.
