A chilling art installation celebrating the release of the blockbuster can be seen in the shadow of the Blackpool Tower this weekend, with plumes of smoke and unsettling 'undead' sounds emanating from within...
1.
Blackpool graffiti artist Christian Fenn, aka SECA One, created the mural on the Comedy Carpet yesterday to promote the release of the zombie blockbuster
2.
Christian and friend Graham Morriss took more than two hours to complete the design successfully in spite of day-long downpours causing the paint to 'run down the sides'.
3.
Graham ‘Moz’ Morriss said: “We had two hours to get the design completed. We started early doors and the rain was washing the paint down the sides. It was madness; typical lovely Blackpool weather."
4.
The art installation was tagged with slogans from Army of the Dead, which follows a group of mercenaries fighting to take back Las Vegas from a hoard of ravenous zombies.
5.
People can see the smoke and hear eerie undead sounds coming from the art piece this weekend.

Army of the Dead is directed by Zack Snyder of Man of Steel fame, and stars Dave Bautista as mercenary group founder Scott Ward, and Ella Purnell as his estranged daughter Kate. It was released on Netflix yesterday, May 21.
