THE Olympic dream was the inspiration for three prize winning paintings.
Budding artists from Lytham Hall Park Primary School showed their creative side when they took part in Rotary’s Young Artist 2012 competition.
The competition tasked pupils with showing the worldwide relationships formed through the Olympics. The school submitted eight piece of art to the local competition.
Three entries by Camille Swarbrick: Yasmin Luxford and Heidi Broadbridge were then put forward to the district competition.
And their efforts certainly impressed as Camille was awarded second place in the final which included entries from school right across Lancashire.
School spokesman Alison Wilson said: “The children were pleased to welcome Lytham Rotary Club who presented the prizes.
“All three were presented with art materials and Camille received a prize box full of art supplies.”
